Dear NW3 CLT Members,
Thank you for taking the time to join us this past Thursday evening. We enjoyed getting to catch up with those of you who have been members from the beginning and also meet those of you who have joined recently.
As we mentioned at the meeting we will be looking to expand in the New Year, make use of the grant we recently were awarded, and look for new opportunities for additional funding and potential projects.
To make this a reality we are looking to forward plan meetings for the next three months. Below are the dates for our next meetings. Please see if you can make these dates and let us know if you plan to attend:
• January 17th 2019
• February 7th 2019
• March 7th 2019
At the meeting, we mentioned roles and responsibilities. Below are three roles that we are looking for volunteers for. If you are interested please get in touch and let us know what you can bring to the role and what your current time commitments are.
• Fundraising lead,
• Governance and charity registration manager,
• Community engagement manager.
We are also looking for all of our members to help us identify sites. We are interested in under-utilised sites that might be able to be developed.
Please let us know if you can make in on January 17th, if you you or anyone you know might be interested in the aforementioned roles, and please do add any sites to the sheet that you think might be a good fit for a small site development in NW3!
If you do not have a lot of time, you can still support us by speaking or writing to your local councillors about affordable housing in NW3 and surrounding areas. Here is how you can find your ward and who is your local councillor.
