RUSS Module 1 Training: How to set up a community-led housing project

We received funding from CLH Hub to attend a highly informative workshop organised by RUSS, a community-led housing group in South London who are about to start building homes for 33 residents (and potentially soon more).

The focus of the training was to build capacity for new groups to consolidate their plans by:

• understanding governance models within the context of each specific project
• building up a finance strategy 
• communicating with members and keeping a momentum especially amongst volunteers
• defining values and priorities, which then feed into allocations policy
