NW3 COMMUNITY LAND TRUST LTD - Minutes from the 22 Sept 2017, 5:30pm Meeting

a) NW3 CLT Website
BG confirmed that the link to bank account via Paypal is now fully operational. 
Integration of the blog in the website.
LC will find a resource to help with the integration.


b) Community Land Trust Network 
Following advice of Keith Cowling Chair of Bristol CLT who delivered 12 affordable homes recently) we should gather evidence of local employers experiencing difficulties in recruiting due to lack of  affordable local housing. We need to write to the Royal Free Hospital, schools and small businesses.
- SP will get some examples of such letters from Bristol CLT 
- JR will write the NWCLT letters to be addressed to local employers.
CLT Network organised Housing Conference 27 November 2017, whole day in London – if anyone is interested to attend let SP know. / ALL
c) GLA - funded Hub for Community Housing 
Hub’s NW London manager Maja Luna Jorgensen replaced by Colin Gipp. SP contacted him asking for match-making us like-minded developers.
He did not follow up with recommendations. 
- SF to write a letter to Sadiq K to question the efficacy of GLA Housing Hub set up to, amongst others, help CLTs partner with like-minded developers.

d) VAC
- SF attending 4th October 2017 – a meeting as part of community cohesion agenda so to identify council’s champion for community housing
e) Camden Council
- SP will meet on with Neil Vokes, Director of Development to discuss ways of working with NW3 CLT. 
- SF will talk Richard Olszewski, the new Head of Finances, to share our vision and explore potential opportunities.
f) Housing Associations
- LC to connect with One Housing association in Camden to find out if they will be interested in working with us to help NW3CLT cost out potential affordable housing developments. 
- LC will do a search for North London developers for potential collaborations.
- SP will connect with Newlon Housing Trust to understand if they are open to partnering with us 

g) NW3 CLT registered on public-owned land websites: 
- BG to research how GLA’s ‘Small Sites’ does work, how often the information is being updated etc.
h) Membership
- Members: Total numbers: 23 
-BG keeps the Members Book updated and sends to each of the new members a welcome message and Share Certificate.
-  To attract new members a Facebook campaign to be run in connection with the NW3CLT launch / Branch Hill Sale / BG 
i) Other Matters:
- Fiscal Matters:
 BO needs to register her cheque book
and BO to activate her Metro Bank card

- Potential Sites:
 Branch Hill House - Camden confirmed the sale on the open market this month.  
- SP to connect with Lorna to find out the date.
- SP to connect with the American lady who lives in the Branch Hill couch house to see if there is more info available.
- Launch of NW3 CLT Autumn 2017 
Time it with the official Camden sales announcement for the Branch House - Bye-Bye Branch Hill House garden party -to create awareness and action towards ensuring that the new buyer will deliver a number of affordable housing units for Camden keyworkers.
