a) NW3 CLT Charity Registration
After an in depth consideration of the pros and cons of
making NW3 CLT a Charity we concluded that there are no cons to NW3CLT becoming
a charity. However, we don’t need to apply for Charitable status as are already
a Society with Charitable Aims . Instead we need to register NW3 CLT with
Government Gateway. / MJ and SP
b) Sites: Old Hampstead
Police Station
Linda Chung proposed to reconsider the Old Hampstead
Police Station in case Abacus School finds another location for their school.
Along with previously designed affordable and market housing it would include
affordable co-working hub for local start-ups.
/DS to look into preparing a sketch based on reworked proposal
from 2016.

Branch Hill Care Home
Successful bidder has been chosen and a Planning
Application for change of use will be forthcoming. 10 rooms within existing
building on site to become available for rent from December 2018 at £465pm
(spare room.com). In order to try keep
affordable units due from development on site, NW3 CLT to offer to take care of
affordable contribution, however small./SP
Sites:
Queen Mary’s Home
First round of site marketing concluded and a number of
bidders shortlisted. Second round due shortly. RFH Foundation Trust assessing
options for the site – to sell or to develop direct. Members looking into any
existing covenants on the use of land and into possibility of registering the
site as a Community Asset.
c) All the other points from the agenda to be discussed at
the next meeting in June/early July.
